Strengthening the Rule of Law in the Middle East and North Africa

ILAC and its member-organizations are committed to building the capacity and infrastructure of key rule of law institutions across the Middle East and North Africa, including the judiciary, bar associations, and independent human rights and anti-corruption agencies to promote accessible, effective and timely justice for all.

At the invitation of local stakeholder institutions and with funding from Swedish Sida, ILAC launched a three-year program in January 2014 that targets the most pressing needs for rebuilding justice systems throughout the region. The programme is implemented by five member organizations in nine countries.
