Elizabeth Howe, ILAC Chair, visited Tunis together with the ILAC MENA team on 10-12 February.
During her Tunisia visit, She also held meetings with key current and possible future partners, including with the new Tunisian Minister of Justice and the leading figures in the Tunisian Bar Association.
Ms. Howe also attended a dinner held by the Swedish Ambassador to bring together the key rule of law actors invited to come to Stockholm in early April on a high-level exchange visit.
The mission provided a great opportunity for ILAC to strengthen our relations with main stakeholders and for our chair to get a good picture of the work we do in Tunisia. Meetings were also held with various embassies to explore future funding possibilities or cooperation.
