ILAC is delighted to announce that Hanna Johnsson joined the ILAC team this August as Programme Director.
Hanna is a 10-year veteran of the rule of law and human rights community and is currently on leave from the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, an ILAC member organisation.
Hanna’s primary expertise is in the Middle East and North Africa but she also recently served a one-year posting in Cambodia where she managed various capacity building programmes for justice sector institutions.
Hanna has Masters in Political Sciences from Lund University in Sweden and has previously also worked with the UN’s Office of the High Commissioner of Human Rights and the Swedish Foreign Ministry.
In 2012-2013, Hanna assisted ILAC in developing a base-line study for the Tunisian judiciary and is now happy to be devoted full time to assist the entire consortium.
