This first MENA Stakeholder Seminar was dealing with the different aspects of Tunisia´s transition from the Ben Ali era to a democratic country based on the rule of law. The seminar, was opened by the Tunisian Minister of Justice, and consisted of two panels. One with high level participation by Tunisian politicians, judges and academics and one with international high level experts, commenting on the possibilities of using the Tunisian experience for transition in other countries.

Ms Ivana Hrdlickova, judge and a Legal Expert of Council of Europe and researcher in Islamic Sharia
