ILAC Annual Report 2020
ILAC’s Annual Report of 2020 is now available. This year, the COVID-19 pandemic heavily affected people’s access to justice across the globe and in turn the way we work to promote and strengthen the rule of law. The repercussions of the global health crisis on the rule of law have shown that ILAC’s mandate to strengthen justice sector institutions and access to justice in conflict-affected and fragile states is as important as ever. Despite the constraints on our usual ways of working brought on by the pandemic, ILAC has maintained its momentum in terms of programmes and assessments, embracing the opportunities provided by electronic access and dialogue when appropriate.
