Mr. Nicholas John Cameron Stewart, KC is a distinguished British barrister and King’s Counsel. He served as a Deputy High Court Judge from 1991 to 2022. He is a former Chair of the Bar Human Rights Committee of England and Wales and former President of the Union Internationale des Avocats. Stewart has appeared at all court levels in England and Wales, the Privy Council, the High Court of Singapore, and the European Court of Human Rights. He has chaired the Dialogue Advisory Group since 2008 and is currently the Chairman of the Democratic Progress Institute. Currently, he is also an Honorary Professor of Law at the Leicester University in the UK.
